FYI
45 minutes of snow shoveling burns more than 300 calories. At least for me according to calculations. So, if one good thing comes from snow it is a good calorie burn. Just had to share for all you snow shoveling fools out there.
How long did you do it and what did Sparkpeople tell you? I plugged in an hour and it said 705 calories. I've heard that the calorie estimations are based on weight so I'm curious what yours said...
45 minutes - 375 calories It is based on weight. Mine may be off. I can't remember the weight I have set on there -lol. I think it was before the fall weight gain I had.
Ah... the dreaded About Me section. Really, if you read my blogs then you know me. I am often cranky, rarely happy and always willing to ramble on about something. I am a pessimist to the core. My glass will always be half empty and I am too old to change that.
The upside, though, is that I love to talk and I love meeting new people. So, read my blog, have a laugh and let me get to know you while you get to know me.

Okay, I checked my weight and had to raise it a little. The calories ended up being 391.
